Florida/SF UNDER 7 +100
3.00/3.00

I see many like the over in this game but I'm going the other way. The total was 7 for Schmidt & Beckett and even though we have lesser pitchers going in game 2 we don't even see the total adjusted by a half of a run? I think the reason is three-fold: 1) These are still very good pitchers going today in a pitcher's park 2) The playoffs are played much tighter to the vest where you see teams trying to scratch out a run instead of playing for the big inning. Case in point - SF's #5 hitter bunting which incidentally led to the first run yesterday. 3) We have two bullpens that are very well rested and with game two being so pivotal in a five game series, look for a quick hook for any pitcher who shows signs of cracking.

SF -158 -158 List Ponson/Penny
3.16/2.00

Ponson is the more consistent of the two starters today so there is a greater chance he has a bad day than Ponson. There was talk that Rueter would start today because he pitches better at home but Florida hits lefties well and the Giants are focused on the 2-0 series lead. This is why they traded for Ponson, time to put up. Oh yeah, and the Giants have this difference maker, some guy named Bonds.

I will be playing the Cubs tonight again, waiting to see how high the line will rise before playing.

Good luck with the Cubbies B&G. I was with you on SF and the under, which has turned ugly. Looking to play the Cubs too.

Hope things turn around.

Mosi- You know I love your avatar being a "Pirate" fan. Yeah, it always is a downer when you start the day 0-2. I was convinced that Ponson was going to show up today. The law of averages was bound to show up a little as I have been on quite a run in all sports lately. The night is early but boy the Cubs needed to plate more than two in the first inning.

Actually am a Cub fan but lost a bet last night and had to give up my "Holy Cow" avatar. The Pirates were basically a farm team for the Cubs this year so maybe that counts.

The Cubs need to score with bases loaded and no outs...two nights in a row.

Come back strong tomorrow.

Mosi - Cub spelled backwards is Buc, another wierd link to our teams. Speaking of backwards, my plays backwards would have been 4-0 today. Mama said there would be days like this. I passed on the late game because I didn't want to chase. I would have taken Oak & over so I am rooting for Sox & under to make me feel a little better.
