We're forecasting a low scoring contest tonight as the New York Yankees try and level their Division Series against the Minnesota Twins.

Both the Twins Brad Radke and the Yankees Andy Pettite have been in excellent form recently. Radke is 2-0 in his last three starts with a minuscule 1.42 ERA while Andy Pettitte has been even better, going a perfect 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA.

The Yankees had beaten Minnesota in 13 straight regular season games prior to the Twins 3-1 victory as a big dog in Game 1. That win has put the pressure right back on their opponent and just like the Braves last night they will be desperate to get the home win and tie the series before going on the road.

The Yankees finished six games clear atop the AL East with a 101-61 (.623) record.

Pettitte (21-8, 4.02 ERA) has been the Yankees hottest pitcher winning 16 of his last 18 decisions. He has won four straight starts allowing a total of just four runs in these outings. He ranks third in the AL in wins (21), fourth in winning percentage (.724) and sixth in strike-out's (180). He will be encouraged by the fact the Twins haven't done well recently against southpaw starters, hitting just .227 against them as opposed to .295 against righties. Pettitte is 7-4 lifetime against the Twins with a 3.78 ERA.

Minnesota recovered from being five games below .500 at the All-Star break to win the AL Central with a 90-72 (.556) record.

'Control freak' Radke went 14-10 with a 4.49 ERA this season but was particularly effective down the stretch winning six straight decisions. He was a perfect 4-0 in September and showed amazing control with a streak of facing 132 batters without issuing a walk. Radke has performed well on the road this season with his ERA more than two runs better than at home. While he is just 2-5 lifetime against the Yankees it's worth noting that the Under is 6-3 in these starts.

Five of the last six games at Yankee Stadium have gone Under the total.

These teams have clashed ten times in New York the last three seasons and the Under is 7-3.

Take the Under tonight and enjoy what should be a fascinating pitchers duel.

Recommended Play: Under 8.5 -110

Good luck

JWun: I don't have exact stats, I'm not a big stats guy when it comes to betting on baseball, but Radke pitched 3 games last year in the playoffs, and 2 of them were gems and 1 was an ok start. He was a big reasn they made it to the ALCS. Regardless of what Pettitte's history or stats or whatever.. he is one of the bets pitchers I have ever seen pitch the day after a loss. He just seems to know how to win when his team really needs one. I honestly wouldn't touch this game.
