SAD TO SAY..........but unless Oakland were to completely collapse in Boston....the REDSOX will dissappoint again.........I really thought they would win this game......but not to be.........THEY ARE FINISHED........you know 162 games of tracking games by teams trying to get tothe playoffs, and really comes down to one thing..........and that is do you have 2-3 REAL strong pitchers.......that is all that matters....the rest is just headline material and highlights on ESPN.......it means nothing OAKLAND has the pitching WALL STREET style, and BOSTON does not outside of PEDRO....and he did not do it. Yeah it does, because all sox fans always think it is the Bosox year.Everybody likes to close their eyes and dream. The Boston Redsox may win a world series if the pope becomes a jew.And we all know that is not going to happen. My advice to you, just start to root for another team.Good luck though.

Pedro was a HUGE disappointment last night. Kim showed his DBacks years yesterday, and having to throw Wakefield in game 2 isn't really the most comforting of things.

I think the Sox win game 3 with Lowe at home, and Pedro will have one crack at redemption in FEnway... I feel the Sox will tie this thing up and send it back to Oakland for a game 5..

but again, Wakefield is a tough one to figure out. I had boston to win this thing just on the pretence of the Sox getting game 1... but I still feel this team's in the series, but if this offense can't get more than 2/3 runs, then it's done for.
