1-1 yesterday...barely missing that OVER CUBS play....

Playing today...

OVER 8.5
SOXS/A'S

I am liking this game as much as the one yesterday when we were able to nail even the inning on which the Over was achieved.

Good Luck All !!!

When it comes to gambling, I'm a superstitious man. (aren't we all?)

Jumped in your thread for the SF/FLA Over, gonna do the same for OAK/BOS Over.

Wakefield has the potential to allow 5-6 runs. When you've got a knuckler on the mound, strange stuff can happen! Even if Chavez/Tejada don't get some big hits, Oakland has a knack for scoring fluky runs.

Zito is a very good pitcher, but he hasn't been super-amazing this year. Isn't it safe to assume that Boston can get 2-3 runs off him?

Then you've got the bullpen. If Oakland can get rid of Wakefield in 5-6 innings, they'll get Boston's AWFUL bullpen. I have a feeling that Boston's bullpen will deliver the Over to us. Cha-ching!

just looked back and saw that A's last year in playoff's never had <9 runs in games. Even in zito and Hudson starts.
Goodluck!

Look @ Oakland's 2nd inning. As I said, they have a knack for scoring fluky runs. They can score 4-6 runs in an inning without any homers.

Hmmmmmmm. When I said Wakefield had the potential to allow 5-6 runs, I didn't think they'd all be in the same inning!

Quick question on Manny Ramirez. Do you think he is over-rated? Year after year, he produces monster numbers. But when I watch him play, he doesn't seem to get any clutch hits. Stranded several runners last night, already marooned a couple runners today.

I would not say overrated..the guy is tough ..but when he wants too.....

It appears some times that he just doesn't care...case in point earlier this year...when he sat out game after game with really no illness...or at least one to really sideline him..

Watching him last night it was like he was going through the motions....

GL and HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE WINDOW TONIGHT AFTER THE GAME !!
