One series play:

MINNESOTA + 130 VS NY YANKEES 1.5 UNITS

The Twins have gotten past a major problem vs the Yankees, breaking a 13-0 cold run over two years...So now this series can be analyzed on players only, and right now Minnesota seems more complete...With Jason Giambi battling a knee problem and batting .156 in his last 40 games, and Bernie Williams having an off-year, the lineups are comparable...The Yankees have a slight starting pitching edge, but Johan Santana, Brad Radke and Kyle Lohse are all in synch, and the two day-off format means the Twins don't have to start Kenny Rogers, notorious for post-season problems...Eddie Guardado and Latroy Hawkins provide a better one-two in the bullpen than the Yankees have, unless Joe Torre unleashes Jose Contreras as his set-up man and gets major results...On defense, and in terms of speed, the Twins are better, and with a 1-0 lead, they probably deserve to be a slight favorite.

MINNESOTA GAME TWO + 210 VS NY YANKEES...1.0 UNITS

Simply too high a price for this game, with Brad Radke coming off a six-game stretch with a 1.85 ERA, and two pressure-game wins over the White Sox and Esteban Loaiza

NY YANKEES / MINNESOTA GAME TWO UNDER 8.5 - 120 1.5 UNITS

Brad Radke and Andy Pettitte are both good bets to pitch well, the Yankee lineup has been inconsistent, and the Twins do not normally fare as well vs lefties.
