POSTS 3-5 -8.65 UNITS

Looking to come back strong today!!! Let me know what you think

10 UNITS San Francisco +107

Game 4's starter Jason Schmidt took the ball in game one of this Divisional series and dominated the Marlins hitters. After that victory the Giants have dropped 2 straight games in this series are on the brink of elimination. So once again San Francisco will depend on the right arm of Jason Schmidt. Schmidt is a big game pitcher, he proved that last season. He was one of the key hurler's in San Francisco's run to the World Series last season. Florida will try and avoid a Game 5 in Pac Bell Park by sending Rookie Dontrelle Willis to the mound. Willis is a very inexperienced Left Hander and the Giants have rocked southpaws all season. San Francisco was a profitable 26-11 (+12.5 units) against left handed starters this season. The Giants hitters hit a crisp .282 while scoring 5.2 runs per game against lefties. The Giants are a team that has been there before, and should respond with a victory against a young pitcher in Willis. I expect big game Jason Schmidt to pitch the Giants back to San Francisco for Game 5!!!

5 UNITS New York -166

With this series shifting to Minnesota where the next 2 games will be played in the Metrodome, all the talk is how the visiting team will struggle in Minnesota's building. In fact the Yankees have played excellent baseball in the Twin City. New York is a profitable 8-2 (+5.7 units) in the Metrodome over the last 3 seasons. With a win today the Yankees can reclaim home field advantage in this short 5 games Divisional Series. New York will hand the ball to veteran, ace & playoff tested Roger Clemens. Clemens has had success against Minnesota going 9-3 with a 1.91 ERA in his last 14 starts against the Twins. The Rocket has announced that he will retire after this season!!!I feel that Roger will do everything in his power to make sure this is not his last start in Pinstripes. The Yankees live for these October games. New York is an amazing 47-24 (+15 units) in the month of October dating all the way back to 1997. I expect the Yankees to come out and play a good solid game and get the victory and more importantly a 2-1 series edge!!!

5 UNITS Oakland +166

The Red Sox have lost a combined for 69 losses this season (regular season & playoff's). Of those 69 losses 30 of them have come against left handed starters. Boston is just 25-30 against southpaws this season. Boston's big lineup seems to quite down against the lefties. In Game 2 of this series Oakland starter Barry Zito kept Red Sox batters puzzled and off the scoreboard for the most part. Oakland will try and make it a clean sweep in this series with another Lefty Starter in Big Ted Lilly. Lilly finished off the regular season strong gong 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA. The Sox have not looked the same in the post season. In Game 1 always reliable Pedro Martinez was knocked around and they eventually lost that game on a bunt with the bases loaded. In Game 2 Barry Zito held them to just 1 run. One run will not win Boston to many games. Oakland knows the best thing they can do is end it now and avoid another match up with Pedro Martinez. I feel confident that the A's can & will close out this series against the Red Sox. If they do end it tonight it would be at a nice price as well!!!

Good Luck Tonight My Friends
