It's not news that has been released yet, but I heard that Hudson could have been injured on Friday in a Boston bar when 6-8 bouncers had to throw him out.

FACT: Hudson was thrown out of a Boston bar on Friday.

MAYBE: That is when Hudson was injured.

The sh!t should hit the fan in the Bay Area later in the day

Posted this in the offshore forum too:

Zito, tonight's starter, was in the bar with him and was sent to Oakland on Saturday.

The A's will tell you that they sent Zito home because he is the potential Game 5 starter and all starters leave a day early.

What doesn't make sense is why the Game 5 starter would fly 3000 miles to Boston on Friday and fly 3000 miles back to Oakland on Saturday. He flew to Boston just to fly back the next day?

YEAH RIGHT

Watch out Zito backers - this guy's head might not be in the game this evening.

Pretty funny story. Not sure what effect it will have on Zito unless he were hurt also.

Im sure he flew with the team because they had a chance to clinch on Friday. once it went to game 4, they took extra care and sent him back (going on short rest already). It wasn't like game 5 was automatic when they arrived. Him actually being home and rested earlier then the Red Sox and pedro isn't a bad thing.

Tough to clinch on Friday when you have no game on Friday. Friday was a rest day.

They claimed it was for a throwing session on the side, by the way.

blown gasket-it happens all the time. Pedro was asked to fly out sunday am and he said no. Especially since going west is not a big deal. Coming east is. They do it all season long. PLus Zito could stay at home. Pedro would have been in a hotel. they landed around 10:30 left coast time, so he had a good night sleep and so did zito. PEDRO PEDRO PEDRO PEDRO and if they win game 3 saturday in Boston will be Pedro vs Clemens
