ESPN is showing an NHL exhibition game instead of the NLCS game??? And this game is on FX (not an abbreviation for Fox). I don't think I've ever watched the FX channel. Isn't that mostly just movies and The Orlando Jones Show?

I'm pretty sure ESPN isn't carrying the other game because FOX has the rights to the playoffs and ESPN is owned by Disney/ABC. They wouldn't want to allow a competing network to show a game.
Then again some of the divisional series was on espn but maybe that was because there were so many games.

I think it depends on where you live as to which game is on Fox and which is on FX. I think they did the same thing last year or sometime in the past? WIth how slow baseball can be you can watch 2 games at once, better then them showing only one game in your area like they have done in the past.
