Sixth Sense, in his football write-ups looks at the trends and needs a +2 trend advantage in one direction or the other.

To use the same argument here, let's try this:

Penny has been OVER his last five starts
Prior has been UNDER his last five starts
HP Umpire (Meriwether) is an UNDER umpire
Wind is blowing out and favors the OVER
Cubs and Marlins are a combined UNDER (137-108) this season against righties

Only one reason to take the UNDER - so it's a total crapshoot to play it. It all depends on HOW STRONG the wind is. Unless it's over 20 mph at game time, it has to be a no play.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Good stuff...thanks. I was going for the over earlier, but I noticed who was the home plate umpire (C.Meriwether ) and he is an under with 66.76% under in 34 games this year. The last 2 games have gone over when C.Meriwether was behind the plate, so the trend says under.
