Marlins and Beckett tonight

Take the Marlins tonight as Beckett is on much better form than Zambrano. After the Marlins win,I would take the Cubs in the series when you can get them at a much better price.

I think Prior and Wood will be real tough to beat. And Beckett is a stud going for the Marlins tonight. This is the game they have to win. If the Cubs lose tonight,you ahould be able to get them at about -120 or -130 for the series.

Not a bad strategy. I also like the Marlins tonight. I posted this in another forum:

Beckett looks to be in top form, 4 and 1 since Sept. 1st. with an ERA of 2.08, opp. Bat. Ave. of .214, with 1 homer allowed while striking out 40 and walking 13 in 34.2 innings over 5 starts.
In comparison Zambrano has gone 1 and 2 with an ERA of 4.41 opp bat ave. of .241 with 3 homers allowed 25 K's 16 walks in 32.2. innings over 5 starts. I also love the Marlins team speed. Looks like a decent night at Wrigley weather wise. The wind should be blowing out some.
