I can't win

I have lost 8 (I think) straight bets. Here are some of my losses:

Cubs/Marlins tonight-comeback loss
Packers/cheifs-4th qtr comeback loss
tampa bay/MNF-late 4th qtr 4 T.D. comeback loss
Seattle/S.F.-comeback loss
Atlanta +10 (last night)

Well all except for Atlanta... those are some of the worst losses and biggest comebacks I have seen in awhile.

Maybe it's time to stay away from the 'marquee' matchups and bet on the less interesting games.

Congratulations. You survived a 0-8 run without losing it. I went 1-13 one time and 23-43 (-20 units!) another time. It happens. You'll have some times when you go 8-0.

well my first public posts ended on a sour note. Went 6-5 in college then came to stink it up in the NFL (which is usually my bread and butter).

There's always a tomorrow. Slow and steady wins the race.

the best advice i can give you is what i do when i go ice cold.

WALK AWAY!

when your head isn't clear and you press - the books will KILL YOU! you 2nd guess everything you like and question yourself. when you do this you are better off not playing.

when i go ice cold i walk away for about a week. i don't make a SINGLE BET for the week. i take the time off to relax and clear my head. when it comes time to make plays - i make "dummy" plays - i pick games - but don't actually bet them - just see if they woulda won, or not. if they win - i know i am "back" and start betting real money now.

so - walk away for the weekend. you will find it does a lot of good.
