In the Red Sox game tonight, when the Yankees made their first out of the 8th inning, the FOX announcer said something to the effect of "The Red Sox are now five outs away from the World Series."

It reminded me immediately of Tuesday night when the Cubs were exactly five outs from the World Series before the foul ball incident, etc.

This is the Red Sox's fateful 8th inning tonight, with the dreaded "five outs to go..."
