The best thing for the Red Sox is.......

Personally I think the Red Sox should trade both Pedro and Manny. Their batting lineup is stacked even without Manny and if they can get 2 good starting pitchers, they would improve their ball club and eliminate 2 cancers.

What do you think the Red Sox need to do?

fire little & spend more money theos only had one year and in his first year take yanks to the limit. its only a matter of time.

No team in their right mind is going to take on Ramirez' enormous salary. Also, it's not worth the Sox to pay half of it to get two prospects that may or may not pan out.

Martinez isn't going anywhere either. The core players' (V-Tek,Lowe,Pedro,Nomar) contracts all run out after next season, so I think Henry & Epstein will go for broke this offseason and spend more $ than they probably want to, which bodes well for us Sox fans, although I don't know how anyone will be able to live down this loss.
