Although Beckett pitched his ass off, I have to disagree with this decision. Penny was 2-0, Conine batted over 350, but my personal choice would have to go to that guy from Chicago that deflected the ball away from Alou!!!!!

why do u people blame that guy??? what about gonzalez not turning the double play on an easy ground ball, what about dusty leaving prior in there with a 11-0 lead, what about saying that that pen blew it for them......stop blaming the guy and blame the team!

I agree should have been co mvp Beckett/Penny
reguardless, what a magical season. you could feel something happening ever since the Mckeon hiring, and the kids coming up. read a story about Jeff Torborg saving a little boys life from drowning when he was back home. might not have happened if he wasn't let go.

RELAX.......it was said in a joke! The Fish did have a magical year, and some fan was not about to ruin it for them!
