it depends i think more on the person.
lighting of course can affect it.
my personal hardest pitch to hit when i played at night was the KNUCKLEBALL dancing in the cool night air

along the lines that you're headed, I think, is betting "twilight" games. Those games that start an hour early, like some of the ESPN telecasts, are solid gold unders because of the twilight starts. Anything, once daylight savings time kicks in, that starts between 5:30-6:15 local time should be considered as an under. The batters simply can't see for four to five innings.
