Anyone follow a system for baseball that produces more winners than losers? I follow the two systems below and seem to win more than lose but end up losing money because they don't dish out enough plays and I end up getting on games that I think I have a feel for but end up eating all my profits. Here are my two systems that I follow in the long run produce winners, albiet no very many per week or per month.

1. Play against any team that won at least their last two games at home and went on the road and won the first game of the series.

2. Play against any team that hit three or more home runs the day before.

And one more that I follow is play on any team in a game that the pitcher is making his first major league start.

Most of these systems produce winners during the year and it is more often that you are betting on a underdog, so an equal number of wins and loses will still produce a profit. Good luck to all this season and hopefully we can come up with a couple more systems that will produce more plays per week and we all can post a profit this season!

I like play #3. These teams are always undervalued. But as you said, not a lot of these plays. Very few in fact.

The plus 2 runs theory

Take the average offensive runs scored for the last 3 games. If the dog has a 2 run advantage over the fav, then you have a live underdog with hot bats.

The 3 win fav theory

After a good team wins 3 consecutive games, play them for the next 3 starts if (A) they are at home, and (B) the price is below -160

The 3 losses away fav theory

Go against the team that has 3 consecutive losses and is a road fav in the 4th game.

Pitcher rematch

If the same 2 pitchers face each other again, then take the loser of the previous game to win the rematch.

The 7-11 theory

Bet on any underdog that has won at least 7 or more of it's last 11 games......Bet against any fav that lost 7 or more of it's last 11 games.

Pitcher Ace

Bet any ace not to lose a 3rd consecutive game at home.
