I normally wait a week or 2 to let things
fall into place in the MLB before capping,
but today there is a game that i will be jumping on.
The lowly Detroit Tigers, trying to
come out of the 119 loss abyss of last season
travel to Toronto to meet the Blue Jays.
Detroit has not won a game in Toronto since 2001......WOW !
Rondell White, Fernando Vina, and Ivan Rodriguez, their top
off-season signings, probably will not strike fear into too many opponents in '04.
Cy Young award winner Roy Halladay has
dominated the Tigers, with a stellar
9-1 record with a 1.51 earned-run average
in 10 career outings against Detriot.
I usually handicap using recent trends, so
i don't want to reach too much into the past
for numbers etc....but i will be on this game.
Toronto has a potent offense, and to ask them to win by
2 runs on opening day at home against the worst team on the planet should not be out of the question, especially with the current Cy Young winner tossing the pill.
RECOMMENDATION TORONTO - 1 1/2 -133.
enjoy.
