Does anyone know how this park is configured in relation to North, South, East and West? Specifically, for todays game the wind is from the Northwest. So, is the wind blowing out or in for the opener?

if i'm not mistaken, all parks are
designed so that the pitcher throws
west, south west, or somewhere between
those 2 pts. the reason being is that the batter
would never see the ball if he was looking
into the setting sun late aftn or early evening.

I should know this....

The park is on the north side of town...and it opens up with a view of the point and skyline, which is to the south....so i "THINK" that the wind will be blowing out.

I respectfully disagree, Jacks,
The BP in Arlington, for one, faces Southeast -- or maybe the clearer way to say it is the third-base line runs west to east. KC is the same way. Cleveland, as I recall, faces northwest, as the third-base line extends east-to-west away from home plate.
