San Diego Padres +105

I told myself that I’ll continue to back this team until they show me I shouldn’t and yesterday did nothing to tell me I was wrong in this theory.

Milton Bradley is a weapon, no doubt about it. But when the Dodgers begin to challenge the Indians win percentage come June and the other pleasures and distractions that beautiful SoCal has to offer calls to Milton like a siren’s song I wonder how long it will take before his attention turns from work to some form of self implosion? Just MHO but I put the Dodgers/Bradley honeymoon’s over/under at the all-star break.

Till then you have another team closer to the boarder that has all the intangibles and ingredients of a stock rising with a bullet. No time to jump off their “buy” wagon here. The Padres have the better lineup and although Perez does historically pitch better at Chavez Ravine he doesn’t fair well against the Padres, (1-3 / 5.81) and his only start against them in L.A. in 2002 was a 7-0 loss. And don’t try to compare that Padres lineup to this one today.

Take the better team and the price.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays +189

Rematch that simply has too much value to ignore. Any idiot can see that the Yankees should win this game. Any idiot saw that New York should have won it the first time a week ago.

I can’t help but wonder what the bottom line will be if you bet against these titans from the Big Apple all year long. I’m not sure I have the stones or fortitude for that but I’ve gone against them twice so far and haven’t been disappointed. Let’s try it one more time.

MLB to date……2-0.… +2.93

Agreed fishhead but look at the math....the line isn't exactly falling from the sky on this game so that either means.....(A)no one is betting the game, which is rather doubtful considering at least one of those teams that's involved, or (B)for every one dollar that is bet on Tampa Bay they are getting close to two on the Yankess.

Moral of the story is you never have a shortage of chalk players in any type of sports gambling.

Agree Vic
don't play Chalk with your worst enemys money. Its more than a "no brainer" thou. You gotta have some balls to. Last year I knew that the dogs were Banking day in and day out but it took me until after allstar break to have the balls to play heavy dogs.

IS....simply put. If you forgot all common sense and stratedgy and had just bet on the large dogs of these last two days, (plus the fiasco in Japan),you would already command a large enough bankroll to support yourself the rest of the month.
