Could this line be right ?
Padres (Eaton) @ Dodgers (Weaver)

7 1/2 freaking runs ?
Is this for both teams combined ?
One of these teams alone should be able
to put this number over the top.

With all these crazy barking dogs
stealing games, i've decided to look
at some totals, and this one came up
on the radar.....

Both pitchers have been struggling mightily
all spring. Waever with a silly 6.99 ERA,
and not to be outdone, Eaton with a bloated 8.26 ERA.

With the wind blowing out at 10-15 today at
Chavez Ravine, even the anemic Dodger offense
should put up some numbers. I'll be on the over
7 1/2 for both teams combined.

RECOMMENDATION: SD / LA OVER 7 1/2 -128

enjoy.

I saw 7.5 in the Bos Balt opener with Pedro and Ponson and thought it was out of whack with Pedro's shaky spring and Yankees in the back of his mind combined with Ponson's awful record against Boston. There were 22 hits, 9 walks, and 3 errors that game although it took a little longer than I wanted to get over.

Could be a similar situation here. Totals in the 7.5 or less are usually reserved for Randy Johnson in playoff games against a good pitcher from the other squad. I might have to go over on general principle here.
