alot of day games on thursday and i will be at work, so i thought i would make my plays tonight, even the night games.
a couple of years ago i had maybe my best season making my picks the night before. i think maybe the reason i did well was because i did not put too much emphasis on what the team did the night before. it is real easy to fall into the trap of they lost last night to a lousy team and i know they won't lose two in a row. by making picks now i think it forces you to just look at the talent and pitching. would like your opinion on my thoughts about picking early, please post them.
onto thursday's picks.....................all plays one unit.
phillies -162 over pittsburgh...........don't like laying this big chalk, but i think padilla is going to have a year like he did two years ago. i think he has a chance to be their ace, even with millwood and wolf on the team. bucs a bunch of no names and they will be shut down.
no write ups for the next three, just taking dogs and hoping to hit two of three.

anaheim +122 over seattle
colorado +147 over arizona
