YTD 0-2 (-3.25)
The Rockies got ripped yesterday, as starter Jennings was exposed by what should be a very mediocre D' Backs lineup. But at the price (+174), I'd take it again.
Pittsburgh +150 (Padilla, Vogelsong)
Vogelsong had an excellent spring (2.05 ERA, 29 IP), and it appears he's fixed some mechanical flaws stemming from Tommy John surgery a couple years ago. He can throw the ball by hitters, and still hit spots with his curve. I expect a positive year from him.
The Pirates pen is worrisome, and led to their demise last night. But Padilla has a career 9.58 ERA vs. the Pirates, and considering the way the Phillies lineup has started, and Vogelsong's promise, you gotta like the sizable home dog.
Good luck,
Space.
