Lurking the first few days. Found five plays worth sharing for Friday:

PITTSBURGH (+117) for 100 - The Pirates won seven of nine at Cincinnati last season. Josh Fogg is 4-0 lifetime with a 3.25 ERA versus the Reds. Cincinnati lost 19 of 27 as home favorites in 2003.

MARLINS/PHILS OVER 8 1/2 for 120 - This is simply too strong a trend to pass even though neither team has hit the ball of late. These two teams have gone over in 24 of 27 in Florida, turning the trick in all nine games last season.

TORONTO (+140) for 100 - Boston played until the wee small hours last night in Baltimore while the Jays have been waiting in Beantown. I have a hunch that Ted Lilly is going to be one of Toronto's better starters. The Red Sox lost five of six at Fenway against lefties in the daytime last year. The Jays won 15 of 23 road day contests.

TAMPA BAY (+120) for 100 - The D-Rays won seven of nine at Tropicana Field against the Birds last season. Baltimore struggled on the road against southpaws in 2003, dropping 18 of 25. Hendrickson has won five of six career decisions agaisnt the Birds.

KC/CLEVELAND OVER 10 1/2 for 110 - Kansas City jumped over in 13 of 15 agaisnt lefties at home under the lights. Stanford and Gobble don't figure to be around long and the Cleveland bullpen has been a horror show thus far.
