They are kidding right? The Angels should be 2 to 1 in this one...they rout the Rangers this line up is too tough for Rickey Dickey/..

"They" are just waiting for all of the bettors that haven't done their research to jump on the 3-0 Angels against that Texas team that has terrible pitching and a terrible offense.

Square is as square does.

Rangers +135 is the value play.

I am such a square I am so glad you showed me the insider techniques to betting baseball by using the whip!!!

It's all so simple I guess career record against a team is useless and oh yeah current form of the team I should throw out as well....
and the bullpen.....

just use the "WHIP" theory..

You are absolutely correct -- career record against a team is useless. Young, Blalock, Teixeira, Mench, Nix, Delucci, Fullmer, Laird, Soriano... Wanna guess how many of those players were on the team when Ortiz has faced them in the past?

Ricky Dickey seemed to do alright: 7IP, 0ER, 0.85 WHIP against that tough Anaheim lineup.
