Choppyness certainly has been the hallmark of the first week of the season. With the exception of Det who was a dog no one has been able to sweep anyone so far which I gather is good for your system and bad for us momentum players. I note that Tampa wasnt exactly a layup last night but they did perservere. Had I known Bost had sat on the runway and did not get into beantown until 7.a.m. for a 3. p.m. gfame that was a layup, nice gone guy bobk

Bobk, not every series will be played.. it will be my job as a handicapper to evaluate each series before hand and try to avoid the dog being swept.. I have a tenative goal of (+2.5 units) for each set of series every week.. meaning there are 2 sets of series for each team, each week.. 15 series, twice a week is the norm.. I expect to only play around 1/2 for the normal amount..

Week 1 : Series Set 1, yeilded 8 plays on series and 7 were skipped. total profit turned out to be 7.25 units ($725)..

Week 1 :Series Set 2, is still churning a profit, ill post final results after tomorrows games..

remember im working with a tentative goal of (+2.5 units) for each series set..

See if I understand this. In series 1 dog wins first game are you now thru with this series and moving on to 2econd series of week. In otherwords Det won game one vs toronto now that isthe end of that series and det is left alone until new oppononent? I note that you lost colrado lat night if they win tonight and you are now ahead in that series you are through with them until Monday?
If that is correct one can go back to last year and go thru all teams and see how many series werre spept and how many were not. you can gustimate odds if need by. Again I think second half much more difficult than first as teams give up. regards as usual bobk

your correct in parts of what you said,,,

Det/Tor series, det wins game 1, series is over.

You cant really go back and look at last year because your not taking EVERY series. I skipped 7 series in the first round this week and 3 more this weekend.. thats where the handicapping comes in..

Its not a blatant system of taking every dog in the series until they win.. This fact makes back testing not as strong as usually.. Of course when the very bad teams emerge, we must avoid that series.. taking detroit last year, especailly early would have hurt.. Also must look at all 15 series as 1 big one.. I know this is confusing, sorta..

for record keeping purposes, the Giants are being raised to a 1 unit play.. (+1.15) average of the 2 half unit prices..
