Brian Lawrence got pounded this spring. Local Sports Radio hosts were talking about how he wasn't ready to start the season and he wasn't keeping the ball down. He was hit pretty well by the Dodgers on opening day, but somehow escaped giving up runs. The Dodgers left lots of runners on base. I'm guessing that Bonds will be christianing PetCo tonite with a bomb to remember on a hanging pitch. I'm also guessing that the Giants will score 5 -6 runs. SF looks like a good play to me for sure.

7th inning...this play is in trouble. if the giants can't pull this one out, it will cap a terrible night for me.

let's wake up tomorrow and get it back.

sorry man.. that was brutal. lawrence once again escaped disaster after giving up a ton of hits and walking in a run. the padres are charmed in this new park. two come from behind wins.. and hoffman loaded the bags before getting the final out too.
