The ChiSox came through yesterday, with a great performance from Buehrle. Which brings me almost back to even after the Yankees Japanimation

opening day debacle.

YTD 2-2 (-.25)

St. Louis +170 (Marquis, R. Johnson)

Marquis had an excellent spring, mainly due to refinding his two-seam fastball (sinker). He was inconsistent in his last start, but he should have some success today. I said a few days ago, this will be a very average D' Backs lineup. Granted, they scored 9 runs in the 4th inning that day

, but they've only scored 23 runs in their other 5 (plus 8 innings) games.

The Cards on the other hand, have scored at least 8 runs in 4 of their 7 games, and no less than 5 runs in any game.
Randy Johnson can't wait for the All-Star break, when he's traded to the Yankees or the Red Sox for the postseason run, because he's got no chance with this offense.
Marquis to the bank. I'd consider this at 50 bucks less.

Good luck,
Space.

The Cards are on fire, and Marquis was very solid. The pen tried to give it away, but St. Louie pulled it out.
