These are the totals that The General & I came up with this morning, after going back through every day so far.....We only counted PLAYS THAT WERE POSTED IN THE MONITORING THREADS.....We are not going back and looking for individual threads........


from this point on, any plays that are not posted in the monitoring thread BEFORE the games start will not count.....That includes copying them over from a thread where they were posted earlier......I can already foresee problems when someone "forgets" to copy over a losing play, or losing thread, or says, "oh those plays didnt count today", etc...


Tomorrow's Newspaper....all plays in the challenge are for (1) unit, therefore you're total may be different than ours

Mr Jones......the only plays we are monitoring are sides, total, runlines, and alt runlines....no half games, or "team" totals...therefore one of your plays did not count....


Barman.....we tried our best to grade your plays, but it is a pain trying to figure out who you are playing with the nicknames...since we are taking the time to grade these, it would be greatly appreciated if you could take the time to list the "actual" team names....i think we figured most out, however I have no clue who Bum vs Rock is, and therefore did not count it....

The general and I have spent almost 2 hours this morning, trying to catch this up for you guys, and get it straight, your cooperation in the future would be greatly appreciated...

If someone feels we have made an error, please let us know, and only if the play WAS IN THE MONITORING THREAD...not plays u posted elsewhere that are suppose to count....

We will try and keep this updated daily, until Journeyman is able to make threads in the baseball forum.....

not a problem but feel that im 9-6 +3.05 units.. believe jman had it right the other day when he added them up, so shouldnt be much trouble to check..

My record is accurate @ 10-9 but my units are at +1.02 as I have in my personal thread. I just went through each day and re-calculated to make it sure it wasn't my mistake.

Nice job Bucs and General. Somehow I knew Jman would have trouble keeping track as soon as he ran out of fingers. No problem with the 1 unit thing. I just copy my post, so if you guys don't mind I will continue to do it that way and just count my double and triples as 1 unit for the monitoring.

Sorry for mystery,,,,I know JMan could decipher Bum as Dodgers and thus Rock as Rockies, but didnt realize someone else was going to grade....so please add a one unit win for me and I'll make sure you don't have future confusion.

After further review, given that I post not only to my own daily Topic, but copy those posts to two other Forums, I'll respectfully withdraw from this Monitoring thread if my posts are not able to be accurately graded as written.

Personal quirk, I totally acknowledge...I figure that if anyone is truly interested in what I'm putting up, they can spot it just as easily since I keep regular record updates and I never use the Edit feature, so anyone can know I'm accurate.

Meanwhile thanks for keeping this Topic here up to date as it will serve as a very helpful tool for all of us.

bucs and General glad one of my picks did not count.

I did search for the monitered cappers thread yesterday and couldn't find it. I did have a winner on Sunday in my thread. Also I posted two plays in my thread for today and again did not see the monitored cappers thread by 11 AM Eastern at which time I had to leave for the day. Only got back just now.

I can abide by rules. I'm just hoping there was no thread either day and if there was where was it....? Not bitching but a little confused thats all. Thanks.

Mr Jones, I will let Bucsfan or Journeyman rule on this. Sorry for the confusion. Ive been confused the last couple days as well.

5DD, smile....Nah, I'm new enough here at RX that I don't know all the names and faces.

I do know, however, that the Edit feature is one I would disable if I were in charge, and as we did at the now defunct Ibettor site....Removing it does two things. One of course is it prevents people changing info that may be time sensitive, but more important, imho is that it would force all of us to take that extra few seconds before hitting POST NOW...I think it helps lower the amount of Flames.
