Talk about bad beats. I remember the Dodgers at home against the Phils in one game. They had a 10-run lead (I believe) and lost it in the 9th. This was when Lasorda was coach.

Does anyone know of a larger lead lost in the 9th?

3 years ago I had houston 3800 to win 3300. playing the Pirates. 8-0 in bottom ninth 2 outs noone on. Giles hits a grandslam to cap the comeback. The battling bucs went on to win the second game in the double header to.

I remember Seattle being down something like 14-0 and coming back to win, although I don't think all the runs were scored in the ninth inning. I don't know whether or not that is the same game that fivedoorsdown is talking about.

Well I THINK Cleveland was down 12-0 going into the 7th against the Mariners in like maybe 2001. That was a great Mariners team BTW. Think Indians won in extra innings. I'm sure somebody remebers this better than I do.

Clay, could we be thinking of the same game and just have it reversed. Now I'll need to know cause this will bug me.
