TOR +117 bos 2 units. Halladay has the skills to match Pedro, Boston must be emotionally drained from Yanks and then they face them again this weekend. A good spot to take a top 5 pitcher at plus numbers.
tb +168 BAL 1 unit. Hendrickson is serviceable and capable of shutting OrangeBirds down. Ponson sometimes looks great and sometimes looks like a fat turd. At +168 I like the chances of the fat turd showing up.
det +127 MIN 2 units. Tigers are playing well and trot out their "ace" (technically, he's their #1 starter. Minny throws out A Man named Silva and the number is hung based on last year's Tigers. If this was Radke pitching the line would be OK, but otherwise it's wack, and I'll take the value every time.
tex +151 ANA. This pick is based strictly on the pitching matchup. "The Gambler" KR is solid, if not, spectacular versus Ramon "soon I'll be pitching in the Northern League" Ortiz. Ortiz really shouldn't even in the rotation and even without Texeira the Texas boys still have some pop to match Anaheim. Another richly valued dog here.
