Today’s game features two pitchers that are having strong starts to the 2004 season. John Patterson was always tabbed as a future star, but Ismael Valdez has turned things around after a horrible 2003.
The Expos offensive woes continue, as they are now 20 games into the season and have only scored more than 3 runs just twice. The Padres new stadium looks like it’s another pitcher’s park, so don’t expect Montreal’s bats to come alive on Tuesday night. Until the Expos get out of their offensive funk, we’ll play against them, especially on the road.
