although the season still is horrid, made a slight gain yesterday, picking up 1.94 units, total is 85-105, -32.17 ytd...

Not alot i like today, meaning the rest of you should have a field day today..

Montreal (+187)...1 unit

Los Angeles (-137)...2 units

Texas (-104)....2 units

Texas -1.5 (+149)....1 unit

White sox -1.5 (+117)...2 units

Montreal -1.5 (+287)....1 unit

GL on texas - should be a good bet and I would have taken them today had they won yesterday but now I'm second guessing myself with 6 straight losses

I notice you bet one on the ML and one on the points like I have been trying

has that worked for you in the past?

I am trying it now for the first time

it works good with just dogs I think but Im beginning to wish that in my losses I only bet one or the other...

Well, nothing is working this year so far, but that is the way i have always played bases, and it will turn around, i have had 4 winning seasons in a row, so i know it will...

My favorite play is the slight favorite, and the plus money on the runline....

I dont often play a big favorite, and then runline if it is negative as well....doesnt make sense...

I play alot of parlays though, and round robins, so i like the plus money on a runline with some small fav's, cuz the payoffs go way up...then i usually back it up with straight plays on the moneyline..

I found out the hard way in NCAA hoops that anything other than straigh bets doesnt pay off...

then again I probably could have made better picks in general

Jay, im just a recreational gambler, when i said i won 4 years in bases, i mean betting local, and coming out ahead, not keeping "records" etc....I have only been offshore for about 2 years....

Dont really track my parlays seperately, i just usually play roundrobins with the straight games i like.....

My father was a bookie years ago, always been raised around the sportswagering thing....

Jay, i live in Indiana, was born and raised here, however i lived in Lakeland Fl, during my young years, and through high school, and have been an avid bucs fan since they came into the league in '76.......through all the lean years, the selmons, the Doug Williams', the Ricky Bell's, Coach McKay, etc....

have remained an avid fan ever since....
