Even with Eric DuBose having some success this season, I feel this is the spot where he gets roughed up a bit.

Chicago White Sox are one of the best offenses against lefty starters. They average 7.2 runs per game & bat .308 against them. Not surprising and all when the heart of the lineup consists of Ordonez, Thomas, Lee, Konerko, Crede, and Olivo...all of which are righty bats.

Opposing the Orioles will be Esteban Loiaza. Loiaza is out to a great start again and dominated the Orioles last year. But I think the Orioles get to him a bit. The Orioles also have tremendous success against a typical pitcher...righties. They average 6 runs per game and bat around .285 against them.

Brian Roberts and Melvin Mora are making life tough for opposing pitchers as a one-two punch. They were a combined 4-for-8 on Monday and are 17-for-37 in the past four games.

White Sox are 5-1 OVER against left-handed starters

Orioles are 11-5 OVER against right-handed starters
Orioles are 5-1 OVER at home when the total is 9 to 9.5
Orioles are 10-3 OVER in night games

Gonna ride the hot Yankees, the winners of six straight games. Mark Mulder hasent had much success against the Yankees in the past and I dont think it will start tonight. The Yankees have played well against lefty starters this season.

MULDER is 4-6 when starting against NY YANKEES with an ERA of 5.64 and a WHIP of 1.484

Yankees are 3-0 against the A's this season

Contereras has some filthy stuff, but tends to blow up against some solid offenses. The A's, fortunately, are not one of those teams. I see some good value here.
