BOSTON (16 - 11) at CLEVELAND (12 - 14)
Pedro Martinez (R) vs. C.C. Sabathia (R)

Many are forecasting a pitchers duel tonight but we'll stay with the Over when the Boston Red Sox look to even their series against the Cleveland Indians.

With staff aces Pedro Martinez and CC Sabathia starting tonight the total is set low at seven. But with two strong offenses going as well we feel that line represents enough value to recommend a play Over the total.

We played the Over in this matchup last night and both the Red Sox and Indians had scored five runs each through four innings. The 9-5 final went well Over the total and followed 13 runs the night before.

CC Sabathia heads to the hill for the Indians as he looks to continue a stellar start to the season. While he may be the ace of their staff he faces a potent offense tonight and will still need to hand it over to a bullpen that always looks likely to give up some runs.

While it's still very early in the season Pedro Martinez has mediocre numbers thus far in 2004. He is 3-2 with a 4.17 ERA and ranks just 25th in the Sagarin ratings for American League starting pitchers. We don't expect him to get shelled tonight but he does face an Indians line-up that is batting .301 and averaging six runs per game this season against right-handed starters. Cleveland have gone Over in 12 of 15 night games this season.

Both of these teams are capable of scoring 3-5 runs tonight and we'll recommend the Over once again.

Recommended Play: Over 7 -130

Good luck
