PHILADELPHIA (15 - 14 ) at SAN FRANCISCO (14 - 18)
Kevin Millwood (R) vs. Jerome Williams (R)

The Phillies go for their fourth straight road win tonight when they open a three-game set against the Giants.

Philadelphia swept Arizona at the weekend to improve to 15-14 overall and get above .500 for the first time this season. They outscored the Diamondbacks 19-9 in that series to win games started by Padilla, Milton and Myers. We think they can keep that hot streak going tonight with Kevin Millwood on the mound who is 3-0 in his last four starts. Overall this season he is 3-2, 3.46 ERA and has pitched at least six innings in every start this season. We expect another solid outing from the big righty tonight. Millwood no-hit the Giants last time he faced them and is 4-2, 3.86 ERA lifetime against San Francisco.

San Francisco return home following a 2-4 road trip at the Mets and Reds that dropped them seven games out of first place in the NL West. They are 14-18 overall this season including just 8-9 at Pac Bell Park. Barry Bonds is still struggling with a sinus and inner-ear infection and is mired in an 0-15 slump that has him without a hit this month.

Jerome Williams gets the start for the Giants and he is off to a solid start to the season at 3-1, 3.66 ERA. The young right-hander has just one previous start against the Phillies when he was pounded for five earned runs in four innings last season in his Major League debut.

The Phillies have won seven of their last nine on the road and we'll go with them to win again tonight.
