Aloha Gang......Well I havent slept yet as these games are early morning games for me and afternoon games for you......Anyways, I hope you all are in good healths and spirits.......Yesterday we had a great day as I posted a 5W-1L= +9.92 Units......That was SWEET!.....What is also sweet is that yesterday's success brought my combined weeks record to 10W-6L= +10.51 Units....It also brought my TOP 3 Unit Plays to 4W-1L for the week as well.....
I like winning $$$, and I like helping others win $$$ as well.....To me, I believe that there is more than enough to go around and for all of US to enjoy!.....So with that said, lets start enjoying em.......LETS ROCK THIS PARTY EARLY MORNING STYLE!
**TOP 3 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Colorado -122
-Pitt's Offense starts with Raul Mondesi, and his absence was a reason why I backed off of playing them the other night......Well, they still won without him, but that one win doesnt make me so convinced that they have learned to live without his influence.....not yet anyway......Yesterday Pitt had an impressive day at the plate, but like I stated, I am not yet sold that they will be able to consistantly duplicate it......
Pitt is just 1-6 in their last 7 overall.....The Rockies are 5-2 in S.Estes last 7 starts on the hill......Colorado is stroking RHP's at home averaging a very solid .308 vs them.......Pitt, on the other hand, is just hitting a poor .217 overall vs LHP's.....In Pitt's last 10 games, this average have fallen even further to .206.....Not good!
St Louis -129
-The Braves are in a very Bad Slump right now, and I dont expect them to snap out of it until they get back home.....They have lost 6 of their last 7 games....Their main problem is on Offense where they have scored just 15 runs in their last 7 games....
The Cards, on the other hand, have found their Offense in the last 3 games, where they have outscored their opponents 15-5.......
John Thompson for Atlanta has been tagged his last two starts, for 20 hits, 12 runs, and 3 HR's, all in just a little over 12 innings.....Suppan for the Cards, hasn't won yet at home this year going 0-3, but has gone 3-0 on the road.....Still, those loses at home were against teams in Chic, Houston, and Milw, all of whom has the Hot Sticks to back up their Pitcher.......Atlanta, sticks has been anything but Hot......because of this I feel that Suppan will be able to get his first win at home over the cold hitting Braves today.....
Atlanta also hitting just .218 vs RHP's in their last 10 games, which should help in the Cards getting the SWEEP today.....Also a plus for the Cards, is that the Braves may be again without the services of one of their best hitting players in Furcal who has reaggravated his injury.......Still, even if he is to play, it wont be at 100% and that again leaves the door open for a clean Cardinal Sweep!
Texas -124
-I will again have to go with the best hitting team in the League, the Rangers.....Who also btw, is second in scoring Offense with 200 runs......This Offense have put up 35 runs in their last 4 games and are tied for 2nd in the Majors in HR's with 47.......12 of those HR's have come vs the Devil Rays in 5 games...
TB's Offensive woes should continue today as they face Dickey for the Rangers, who have been very solid on the hill posting a 4-1 record and leading Texas to 5 wins in his 6 starts.....He's also a RHP and the Devil Rays have been struggling vs RHP's, averaging just .216 in their last 10 games vs them....Texas gets the SWEEP today....

-I am going to continue to FADE this Expose team on the road where they are now 4-16.......The main reason for this struggle is again due to their struggles at the plate, not the hill.....Now their batting average dropped to .221 as they remain the worst hitting team in the League....
Today the Expose face a resurgent Davis coming off of an impressive win vs the Mets......But, I like the fact that he is a Lefty.......and to say that the Expose are struggling vs LHP's this year is an understatement.....Overall vs LHP's, the Expose average hitting ONLY .195....On the road, the Expose vs LHP's average hitting ONLY .189......In the Expose last 10 games vs LHP's, they average hitting ONLY .175.......Not Good!!!!
Davis last start vs the Mets, he held a better hitting team to just 6 hits and 2 runs......Davis also held Houston's bats in two games vs them, to just 5 hits and 6 hits....He held St Louis's bats to 7 hits, Arizona's bats to just 5 hits, and Cincy's bats to just 4 hits......
Kim for the Expose look like he will be a good one, but without any type of Offense to back his performance on the hill, he will definately feel the pressure of trying to keep this team in the game.......Not good for a pitcher making only his 3rd start, after playing the role of a relief guy for so long....
Angels +143
-Again, I have to continue to back the HOTTEST team in the League the Calif Angels........Dammit, I mean the Anaheim Angels......Calif, Anaheim, what is the difference? lol......Anyways, that BP of the Angels is smokin with an ERA of just .81....WOW!
Lackey gets the start today, and after starting off 0-3, he has been on Fire winning his last 3 starts.....In his last start, he gave up just 3 hits......The Yanks ONLY average hitting .231 vs RHP's at home....The Angels, on the other hand, is smacking RHP's on the road averaging .283 vs them.....
The Yanks will also be without their leader behind the plate in catcher Jorge Posada who is out due to an injury.....The Yanks will definately miss his consistancy and leadership from behind the plate...The Yanks have other go to guys as we all know, but the Angels are HOT right now and have won 16 of their last 19 games.....

-I gotta again stick with the Twins today vs the struggling M's......The M's are still in a slump and their Offensive production have now pushed them to the bottom only above the Devil Rays in the fewest runs scored in the AL with just 132.....I said it before, good pitching can keep you in a game, but you still need an offense to help you win it and Edger Martinez cant do it alone.....
Minny is clicking right now, and they must be estatic as they have taken over the Top spot in the AL Central with their win over the M's yesterday.....Complete SWEEP is the goal of the Day for the Twins, which is something no team has done to the M's in almost 20 years......
Santana for the Twins is a S/O artist and he should find success vs the M's squad who are only hitting .224 vs LHP's in their last 10 games....Twin get the Clean Sweep today.....
