I have one play so far -

Montreal/Arizona UNDER 9.5 -115

Casey Fossum gets his first start of 2004 - he has a 1.37 ERA after 4 starts in AAA and is off a 6 shutout inning performance in which he had 8 K's and 0 walks. His reward is facing the Expos who are batting .188 vs. lefties and .216 on the road as a team. After struggling early, Ohka has had two outstanding starts in a row against San Diego & St. Louis. Shutting out the Cardinals for eight innings is a clear sign of being in good form. Pinnacle quickly moved this line to 9 after opening at 9.5, wouldn't be surprised to see others follow.

Thanks General - U2!

Cincinnati +140

I really do not know how Kaz Ishii has as much success as he does. The number of walks he allows is ridiculous and I am counting on the Reds to make him pay. Cincinnati has not been slugging well versus lefties but Ishii actually has not been effective versus lefties this year: .310 BA, 1.86 WHIP. Ishii is pitching 2 days after his normal spot due to a cartilage issue in his sternum so this may be a factor. Paul Wilson is a solid but not spectacular pitcher but should do enough to keep the Reds in this game. At even money this is not a play but at +140, there is good value.
