Aloha Gang.......How ya All doing today?........I hope you All are in good health and spirits on this Aloha Friday........Yesterday we had yet another winning day, as I posted a 5W-3L= +1.67 Units......So far this weeks combined record is a solid 15W-9L= +12.18 Units.......Today, lets keep on increasing this positive thing we started as we enter into the weekend.......Lets start it off with these BAD BOYS!.......Its Aloha Friday Gang.....and that means No Work Till Monday!.......Party Time Baby!....

**TOP 3 UNIT PLAYS ON:

NY Yankees -1.5 -105

-There are always some guys who dominate certain teams......well, Mike Mussina is one guy who has dominated the M's.....Mussina currently has won 5 consecutive wins over the M's, and is 16-5 with an 3.33 ERA in 23 starts vs them in his career...WOW!......His last start facing the M's was on Saturday at Safeco Field in Seattle where he led the Yanks to a 6-0 win, with his solid 7 innings of work where he held the M's to just 3 hits, 2 walks, and got 7 K's....WOW!

Watch out Yankee Faders......The Evil Empire has gotten HOT winning 12 of their last 15 games.....The M's, on the other hand, have fallen to last place in the AL West and have scored the 2nd fewest runs in the AL only above TB......

Yesterday, I went against the Evil Empire a they were without their leader behind the plate in Posada......Well, that didnt matter one bit........Yesterday, I went against the M's as their Offense is in a terrible Slump and it paid off.......Today based on the results of yesterday, where the M's failed to score any runs, I see ONLY bad things occuring here in the Evil Empire's Domain.....This one could get ugly and that is why I am laying the it on the RL.

Texas -133

-Don't get to excited Tiger fans, Detroit's win yesterday was ONLY their third win in their last 10 games, so they are still struggling a bit....

Today they will go with a reliever in Knotts on the hill, giving him another shot as a starter......IMO, going from reliever to starter is a whole new animal in itself and he will struggle today, especially vs this Ranger squad that is the BEST hitting team in the entire League......

Knotts played this role last year and made 18 starts inwhich he struggled, posting a 3-8 record with a 5.77 ERA.....This year in relief role, he has a 6.32 ERA with 12 walks, and 3 HR's........This is simply not a good spot for him to make his transition and surely not a team to make it against....

Texas is 7-3 in their last 10 meetings......Also, Texas this year has been hitting RHP's at an average over .300....Not good Tiger fans.

Angels -123

-The Angel to me is still a HOT team and a consistant playing ball club with a very solid BP to back them starters up......Eventhough they lost the series vs the Yanks, a series I felt they should of won, they still gave that All Star lineup of the Evil Empire all they could handle from start to yesterdays dramatic finish.....

Today starting for them is one of their solid Ace's in B Colon who has a 4-2 record on the year....The Angels are also 7-3 in Colon's last 10 starts.....and they have also won 9 of their last 11 games.

Now I am aware of the Angels 0-6 record at Camden Yard, and the fact that they have lost the last 8 vs the O's......But that was last year and this is a special Angel team this year......Also, they will be facing a Pitcher for the O's who AintWorthShit(Ainsworth) LOL, and he has yet to go beyond the 6 innings more than once this year.......Bottom line here is that you have two teams with good starters and two teams that have been hitting the ball very well so far this year, but I like the Angels starter more and I like their BP even more...

**2 UNIT PLAYS ON:

Colorado +101

-I love the Rockies today with Kennedy on the hill......The Rockies this year has been a pretty easy team to follow.....As my success going with them in Game 1 and against them in Game 2 both ending in Wins for me, can atest to......When the Rockies are at home with one of their Ace's on the mound, you gotta back them especially as they have the bats to support him....

Kennedy is yet to lose this year going 4-0 so far with an 2.40 ERA, 31 K's, 14 walks, and 4 HR's given up......The Phil's send Milton to the hill, and he as well is undefeated at 3-0, and beside having a higher ERA of 4.36, he has posted similar numbers to that of Kennedy.......In Kennedy's last starts vs Top opponents he has be superb...For ex, vs Houston he allowed only 5 hits and 1 run, vs LA he allowed 6 hits and 1 run, and vs Chicago he allowed ONLY 3 hits and 2 runs,.....all of this in a little over 18 innings on the hill.....

But, I like the Rocks today equally because of their offense at the plate were they rank 6th in the League in hitting average, whereas the Phillies are still overall ranked 5th to last in the league in hitting %......Making matters worst for the Phillies that they may be without the services of their Ace closer in Wagner who is suffering from a groin injury......Also, Colorado is 5-1 in Kennedy's last 6 starts.....

Toronto +132

-Look out the B Jays have caught a bit of a momentum of late winning 7 of their last 9 games.....The RS, on the other hand, have started to cool off and have gone 1-4 in their last 5 games....

Miller for the B Jays tamed the WS's bats in his last start, and he should find success vs the RS who ranks below both the B Jays and WS's in hitting % at .269 overall.....In that game vs the WS, Miller allowed just 2 ERs, 7 hits, K'ed 7, all in 7 innings leading to a 5-2 win.....

Lowe for the RS hasn't been consistant all year and is coming off of 2 bad losses both of which he didn't last more than 5 innings......Yesterday the B Jays spanked the RS's Ace in Schilling and got a win in a rout 12-6.....Today, Lowe and RS could be roughed up again by this resurgent B Jays squad...

Houston -1.5 -115

-This one has win by multiple runs by the Astros written all over it.......I dont know, maybe it is just me, but I like Oswalt today......I think that he is one pissed off starter right now, not to mention the entire Astro squad that squandered the lead and got a loss to the Florida Marlins last night......Oswalt hasn't won a game in almost a month, but his game on the hill has still been solid.....His numbers so far of 2-1 record, with 2.90 ERA, 39 K's, 13 walks, and just one HR, backs it up......

Trachel for the Mets hasn't been to bad either, but he will be facing the 5th best hitting team in the League, while his offense at the plate ranks 4th to last in the League......If the sticks of the Astros find their mark, which I feel today they will, this one should result in a multi run win by the Astros and that gives me confidence in laying it on the RL today.....

**1 UNIT PLAY ON:

Oaktown -142

-Going to back the A's today with Hudson on the hill......He has been solid this year going 3-1 with an 3.27 ERA, 26 K's, and 8 walks.....The A's Aces have found much success vs the Royals of late winning 29 of their last 39 vs the Royals.....17 of the 21 victories that the A's got came on the Royals home turf.....Enough for me....

**Ok Gang, so far so good this week.....Lets keep this train a rollin along into the weekend........I will have some late plays up a little later in the day for anyone who is interested in them......so please feel free to check back later for them......Today lets enjoy this Aloha Friday, as there is no work till Monday......Good luck to All today and Gang, LETS GO GET EM!!! We need these Angels to come through with a win after giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to allow the Orioles to come back.....Percival gives up 3 runs after not giving up a hit or a run in his first 2 appearances.....damn!!!!
