this is a tough call.. i love petitte tonight but tough to lay this chalk into a team that beat you yesterday with alot of chalk... i was going to play them huge, however instead i chose to go with TB (nhl) +1.5 goals and got a miracle with 29 seconds left. so ill pass on the astros tonight... i laid (-2.00) yesterday on the yanks and came out, in doing this, one must be very selective.. im interested to see how this comes out,,, id say they would pound james baldwin...
I Banked on the RL....in these situations where you got a terrible pitcher vs a dominant one, who can hit as well....giving the team another advantage...I wouldnt be afraid to lay the RL....I'm glad you won though on the ml....Its winners all around....for those who saw the value in the Astros RL and ML....
betting the money line in baseball is still the best proposition in sports betting. if you can stay true to that philosophy and lay off the big faves, you can turn a nice profit during the baseball season. all other sports you cannot win consistently over the long haul when the man gets 7-10% out of the gate. when you're betting run lines laying -1.30, you're headin' to the poor house. last night, some bettors opportunisticly got there with the stros. the next time you may not be as lucky. not ragging anyone, just good advice if you wanna make money.
