Call me crazy but I'm on the Reds and the Tigers.

Even though the Pitching match-up favors the Astros, the Reds have enough offense to beat Pettitte.

I also like the Tigers hoping that their offense is good enough tonight to beat the better Pitcher Meche.

I will probably not get away with both plays as one is a run-line and the other a decent-sized favorite but I couldn't resist - Petitte dominated the Pirates & Braves, two other teams very weak versus lefties as the Reds are. The Houston lineup has excellent career numbers vs. Van Poppel who is terribly mediocre to begin with. Robertson has a very decisive split - excellent versus lefties, horrible versus righties. The interesting thing to note is that the Seattle lefties hit lefties very well so that strength may be nuetralized. Meche has under-achieved this year but is better at home and this just seems like a good spot for the M's off a big win last night.

Good luck tonight.
