I definitely don't enjoy laying this type of chalk but the Cardinals are red hot going 7-3 in their last 10 games. Today they are going up against an average pitcher in Rusch who is a left-hander and the Cardinals are a substantially better hitting team from the left side of the plate. Overall they are hitting .284 on the season from the left side of the plate. In away games they are batting .294 and in their last ten .298. The last two times Rusch faced the Cardinals he went one inning giving up 6 hits and 8 runs and went 5 innings giving up 11 hits and 7 runs. That was when he was with the Milwaukee Brewers. Today he will be pitching in Wrigley Field and with a total of 13 on this game the wind is blowing out pretty good. I believe the Cardinals' bats are too hot at this time for them not to get the victory here today.
