I couldn't believe it last Sunday. Lowe has the bases loaded, the trainer comes out to look at his finger as it is bleeding and he obviously is in pain. Francona leaves him in and he walks in a run on 4 pitches. The Orioles ended up scoring 7 in the inning. Last night, Wakefield was getting shelled. I couldn't believe he didn't go to the pen and Berroa missed a grand slam by a few inches. Francona does look like a deer in headlights. I just moved to Philly and everyone here was saying how awful he was and couldn't believe the Red Sox would even interview the guy much less hire him.

Welcome to the club! God I don't miss him. He makes Bowa look like the smartest man alive! He has more talent to screw up in Boston than he did here and I'm sure he'll do his best! It'll get better if Francona does less that's the ONLY way.
