108-93 (+8.17 units) overall
even though i lost 1.55 units yesterday, i guess i was sort of lucky. i said no way both clemens and milton went down. they almost did. milton got knocked around early and was lucky to get a no decision. no regrets taking clemens and milton, they both have made me money.
i like some games today, but this interleague makes me nervous. all plays for one unit each.
phillies -148 over detroit..........ok, i will give the tigers some credit, they are not as bad as i thought they were. they seem to be able to score some runs. BUT....they give up alot right now too. the phillies offense is finally reaching their potental. this team can hit the ball! end of story. if their pitching stays healthy and holds up they will win the nl east this year. don't know much about powell for the phillies. he will give up some runs tonight, but the phils should outscore the tigers. phils win.9-6.
atlanta -1.5 (+115) over kansas city..........i don't know if it is my imagination or not, but the braves seem to be all or nothing this year. they lose or they kill you. i cannot picture kansas city going to atlanta and winning, but i don't want to lay 170. braves should score alot tonight. laying 1.5 at (+115) looks very good.
the more i think about these two games as i type i really like them. MAKE THEM BOTH FOR TWO UNITS EACH.
san diego -158 over tampa bay...........this is about as high of a favorite that i want to take. lawrence pitching very well for the padres. tampa a poor road team. was going to play the runline, but i get the feeling the rays give them a battle and lose by only one run, but of course i hope it is a blowout.
playing alot today, hope this is not a mistake, only two more.
anaheim -118 over pittsburgh
minnesota -115 over montreal
pirates and expos both suck at home, don't see worse than a split out of these two.
feel really good about this card, especially the two unit plays. good luck everybody!!
