Minnesota (34 - 28) at Montreal (20 - 41)
Johan Santana (L) vs. Zach Day (R)

The Expos have dropped six of their last eight games and are last in the majors in hits, runs, average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage. Montreal are just 5-15 in series openers this season and tonight face a Minnesota lineup that have won five of their last seven contests.

The Twins Johan Santana has an excellent interleague record and tonight looks to win back-to-back starts for the first time this season. The lefthander finished with a season-high 10 K's and no walks in his last outing and the 5-3 victory over the New York Mets improved him to 7-1 with a 2.34 ERA in 19 interleague games.

Zach Day counters for the Expos and despite excellent individual numbers this season he has received very little support from his teams anemic offense. Montreal have scored three runs or less in nine of his twelve starts.

The Expos are just 6-15 (-7.6 units) against teams with a winning record while the Twins are 23-16 (+4.5 units) when playing teams with a losing record.

Good luck
