Although he hasn’t had much success on the road this season, John Lackey is coming off of two strong starts. Lackey’s problems on the road stem from the fact that he went up against some of the top offensive teams – Texas, Yankees, Toronto, & the White Sox. The Pirates lineup simply doesn’t match up to these other teams, especially at home where Pittsburgh averages only 3.64 runs per game.
The Angels offense should just be too much for the Pirates again on Wednesday night.
The price has jumped a lot since opening (at Anaheim –125), which takes away some of the value, so play accordingly.
