they fire francona. .we get a GM with brains ok thats fine, why stop there can we have a manager with some of those? (brains?)

last night, curt shilling nursing an injury and struggling much of the game has kept it close 4-3. god bless him. what a competitor. especially to do this at coors with helton is just admirable.

NESN (the local network) runs a stat that shilling gets batted .356 against after 90 pitches. so terry francona our beloved (yea right) manager leaves him out to fry for more runs and yes folks even after 90 and more runs still leaves him up there on the hill to face even more batters for even more runs to come home.

the >90 (does this express 'greater than? i forget. anyways) stat im sure isnt top secret knowledge and why does he get left out to fry with an injury knowing how he struggles with 90+?!

this is idiocy at its finest. i would estimate that terry francona has helped best buy and circuit city get a serious boost in their aftermarket remote control department, due to the 10's and thousands he is responsible for breaking.

you forgot to mention the sox terrible defense!!!! the team has no range except for pokey reese and the outfielders have lousy arms. the g.m. should burn his moneyball book and concentrate on defense (patrots, pistons world champs). the sox will never win the world series with lousy defense.

i believe his total pitch count was 115

he should of been long gone before that count

redsoxs are leaving way to many men on base over the past few games, this is coors field the should be scoring at least 10 runs per game here

maybe they break out today
