run line thinking by the books???

Seems like the books show what they think on games and how close they are going to be. Example is the M's tonight Moyer is about -150 but on the run line -1.5 +105 as compare to like Sheets at -150 but -1.5 +145. Never much play run lines so probally making much ado about nothing. Just interesting and maybe there is something there.

It is because the Mariners are on the road and the Brewers are at home. In baseball, the price between the money line and the -1.5 for a favorite is bigger for the home team than an away team. This is because an away team still has an opportunity to pile on runs if they are tied in the 9th or extra innings where as if you have a home team at -1.5 and you go to the 9th or extra innings, you need a HR with at least one man on.
