Miami is hungry after being embarrassed by Texas last year and would love to meet them in big revenge games. Cockroft was hammered in last year's CWS and has plenty to prove. I know he has been inconsistent his last few outings but feel he will step up tonight. I have seen Cal State play four times and they are sound club but feel Miami has the better sticks and you must score runs to win in Omaha. Windsor outing Saturday was one of the best ever in Omaha, but it also showed me that Horton has ZERO confidence in the bullpen. Windsor was in trouble in the 7th and 8th innings but was not pulled after throwing nearly 150 pitches! Ricky Romero was brutal giving up 7 runs and 3 homers against the light hitting Tulane Green Wave in the Super Regionals. I can only imagine what the right handed hitting Miami lineup will do to him. I believe Miami only has 1 left handed hitter. Miami has a very solid bullpen and even if Cockroft gets in trouble, they have plenty of arms to rescue him. Miami got down early 3-0 and 5-3 to LSU but were not rattled at all. The Canes are on a mission to meet Texas in a rematch and will do so, Canes 8-4 over Titans!
