Pittsburgh rookie left-hander Sean Burnett limited the Cardinals to five hits over six innings to pick up his first career win Tuesday, and Tike Redman drove in two runs to lead the Pirates to a 3-0 win.

The win was the Pirates' fourth straight, matching a season high. Before this streak, they had dropped 21 of 25.

Late steam on the Pirates, down to +139 at Pinnacle. Probably just a reaction from the Cards lineup they are putting out today.

WTF is up with St Louis these guys are lucky to be in first. My god. When it's all said and done when the Cubs have a set pitching rotation that division is finished. Let alone the rest of the national league.
