Thanks Dirk....I saw your post and went double. How do you know whose umpiring on the first day of a series? It's valuable info if you could share. Someone said to look in mlb.com an hour before games start and I tried that but couldn't find it.

By the way...whose the ump in the Colorado game?

Hey kidslick...thanks for the winner on the Colorado over 13..even though it took a 3-run homer with 2 outs in the 9th to get it, but I'll take it

...and even though I had no idea who the ump was but I knew you were on it and was a good bet!
Who was the ump?

Dirk: Interesting angle ! Do you have any sort of record on how your umpire alerts have done record-wise, since whenever you started posting them ? I imagine , it would be very positive.

Thanks,

Doug

Doug,

I haven't really kept a record.
I probaly should have though.
This is my first season making bets based
upon the ump info.
It has definetly made a difference in my bankroll.
Some have suggested that you should start
fading the umps since historically
most umps end up near 50% by seasons end.
me personally, I will stick with an ump until
he shows a pattern of changing his strike zone.

Dirk: Thanks for reply, and another question.

Do the QUESTEC ( or whatever it's called ) equipped parks, make a difference ? It seems to me they might ! An ump might change his view of the strike zone, knowing he may be "called " on it later. Actually I haven't heard anything about that system this season ! Is it in use ?

Thanks,

Doug
